well thats it - thats the end of term and here comes 6 weeks of lie ins lol. Actually I should feel bad cos have only been back two weeks, but I dont.
It was strange really, there are lots of people leaving - one of them being my head of department and I will miss them - well some of them anyway. It will be strange without Pete, as he's the reason i'm at hessle high. He gave me my first real break there and I've never looked back since, although its been hard work - but worth it. I know you will never read this Pete but thank you for everything.
Usually we have a bbq on the field on the last afternoon - its just for staff and is lovely. But this year it was moved to the garden, with no where to sit and lots of people just standing around and it did'nt feel the same, so I left early. Its probs as well as I tend to get emotional saying goodbye and I did'nt want that.
So instead I came home - had a nap for an hour - then set too doing the house stuff. I'm sooo glad I ordered my shopping online, as the rain is pouring and it saved me a couple of hours. Now I intend to sit down, watch my favourite programs on tv and maybe, just maybe get my sketching stuff out, as I've had a yen to draw again.
Tonight is also my last snore free night, as Neil comes home tomorrow. I know I sound awful but I dont mean it. He's been gone for 2 weeks and though I dont always admit these things - welllll I've missed him. It will be nice to have him home again.
